Event: Swimathon 2021, from 10 September 2021 to 12 September 2021
Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2021 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Story

This is a fun event we can share again, as we have for several years - this year our ages range from 7 to 75. We can also raise money for two good causes, Marie Curie and Cancer Research UK. This has been a very difficult year and we all know people who have died, many from cancer, including one of our older family members, Robin. Marie Curie, from who he had help, gives expert care and support to people living with any terminal illness, and their famiies. Cancer Research UK, the worlds leading cancer charity is dedicated to saving lives through research. They don't receive any government funding for their work.
On 10-12 September, over 21,000 swimmers like us will be heading to over 300 pools across the UK to raise money for our two charity partners. Together, with your support, we can really make a difference!
