Myself and Shaun, have taken the plunge to challenge ourselves and raise money for a fantastic charity by taking part in the Snowdon Sunrise Hike on 11th September 2021 - this is completely out of our comfort zones and we have never attempted anything remotely as challenging, or remotely similar if we are honest!!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Snowdon Sunrise Hike is graded as Tough. We will be;

🦋 Trekking for approximately 8 hours continuously up Snowdon, with the added challenge of walking through the night!

🦋 Covering 21km (13 miles) of undulating terrain

🦋 Ascending a total of approximately 975m in a single night.

Sands stands for 'Stillborn and Neonatal Death Support' Charity. They offer invaluable emotional support and practical help to anyone who is so tragically effected by the death of a baby. As most will know, our son Bobby was born sleeping in January 2020 so unfortunatly we know first hand the heartache and devastation such a tragic experience leaves behind, SANDS has already helped our family in many ways and I'm sure will continue to do so for many years to come.

Sands also works in partnership with health professionals to ensure that families receive the best possible care, they promote changes in practise and also fund crucial research to reduce the loss of babies' lives. 

We have set ourselves the goal of reaching £1000 (£500 each) in sponsorship/donations and we are extremely grateful for your support, no matter how little or big that may be - every penny matters 💙
