Making things better for staff, patients and families on the Neonatal Unit at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire

Story

On Friday 12th November, very unexpectedly, our amazing friend Char and her partner Pete welcome their beautiful twins into the world at just 26 weeks. Being such premature babies both needed special care on the UHCW neonatal ward. Sadly, after 3 weeks of fighting, George went to sleep with the angels but during his time in the hospital the care he received was amazing. His sister, Emmie, is still battling on and going from strength to strength. Her fighting spirit, George’s undeniable strength and the fantastic hospital care are ensuring that she is making progress in the right direction. We would like to raise money for the hospital to say thank you by completing a 5k run in George’s memory. We are a mixed bag of runners however would all like to take on this challenge and raise money for such a good cause. Thank you in advance for any donations you make,

Debs, Vez, Fiona, Mia, Hannah, Nikki, Lucy, Faye, Emily and Emma xxx
