Story

Hi everyone, we are Harriet and Olivia- mother and daughter taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025. We are doing this to raise money for King's College Hospital, who saved Olivia's life back in 2019 when she became critically unwell.

Growing up and living in Cornwall, our family had no connection to King's prior to 2019. That all changed on 28/07/2019 when Olivia became seriously unwell at university. She was rushed to the intensive care unit, where she was placed into a medically induced coma and taken to King's College Hospital Liver ITU. She was fighting for her life.

If it were not for King's, Olivia would not be here today. We as a family will be eternally grateful for what King's College Hospital have done for us. We are always looking for ways to give back to them and have decided this will be our next challenge.

We can't wait to cross the finish line together as mother and daughter. So please help us make that moment even more special by helping us reach our target for the place that saved Olivia's life.
