Story
Love the life you live. Louise Marshall
In August 2021, we lost our wonderful Louise. In her memory, we would like everyone to come together and celebrate Lou’s life by fundraising for a charity close to her heart, Cancer52.
Louise was diagnosed with Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma, a rare stomach cancer that is hard to detect, with a poor prognosis. The condition does not have enough awareness, research, fundraising or specific patient support, and for this reason, it is vital to come together in aid of charities such as this. Cancer52 is a charity that covers rare diseases in raising funds for research and support.
Lou’s motto was to ‘love the life you live’ - she lived and loved her life and those closest to her wholeheartedly. Even during the most challenging times of her cancer diagnosis and treatment, she remained positive, busy and kept active with running and pole fitness!
This year we are inviting everyone who wants to join in with fundraising, by doing something in memory of Louise. Whether its a 3 mile race or 10,000 steps in a month, whatever you decide to do will go towards the fundraising mileage!
