We are blessed to live in a city that has a dedicated hospital for children. The Children's Hospital Charity helps Sheffield Children's to change children's lives every day. Their major appeal is to support funding for the National Centre of Child Health Technology (NCCHT).

The NCCHT will be a place to develop world-leading research and build new technologies to solve the biggest challenges in children's healthcare. It will bring together children, clinicians, inventors and engineers under the same roof, with state-of-the-art facilities for manufacturing, digital development and the opportunity to deliver Sheffield Children’s clinical care.

We are a team of friends and family at Sheffield Hallam who are passionate about the future of children & young people. We have seen the wonderful impact the Children's Hospital Charity has offered and impacted on lives, and we want to offer our support too.

"My daughter has nut allergy so we had to go to Sheffield Children’s Hospital on a couple of occasions when she had incidents with accidentally ingesting food containing nuts. We did Theo’s Night walk as a few years ago as a thank you so we as a family are more than happy to support this charity." Adeline and Will.

None of us has any experience in the Dragon Boat race, but we have committed to the race and also training days. Please support this great cause, we are grateful for your kindness.
