Story
Between 3rd – 11th July 2025, myself & Tanny will be taking on the Tanzania Cycle Challenge – the challenge of a lifetime!
Over five days, the team will be cycling from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Conservatives Area through rough/dirt trails and the intense heat of Tanzania in order to raise vital funds for MAG.
Every day, 13 people are killed or injured by landmines and unexploded bombs. Almost half of casualties are children.
MAG aims to save lives and rebuild futures by removing and destroying landmines and unexploded bombs from communities affected by war and violence around the world. Because of their work, people can not only live safely, they can farm safe land, build new houses and schools and children can walk without fear.
Whilst MAG teams are not currently working in Tanzania, they are in the process of seeking registration to work there on projects focused on armed violence reduction. MAG are active across 16 other countries in Africa delivering landmine clearance and weapons management projects.
Please donate to our page and help to support a safer future for millions of people.
Thank you!
