Event: Myeloma UK London Paris Ride 2022, from 15 September 2022 to 19 September 2022
Myeloma patients, family, friends, healthcare professionals and supporters cycle 500km from London to Paris over four days to raise crucial funds for myeloma research.

Story

Every year Takeda support the London to Paris bike ride organised by Myeloma UK and (finally) the ride is back for 2022! Myeloma is a type of blood cancer, and although incredible progress has been made over the last decade in terms of new therapies, it is still incurable and patients have to manage very debilitating symptoms and side-effects of treatment.

To show our support and help raise vital funds, a team of 16 from Takeda UKIE (alongside patients, doctors, nurses and other advocates for the charity) are cycling 500 km over 4 days from London to Paris to raise money for the Myeloma UK charity. The Takeda team come from many different parts of the business but are already forming a close-knit group who are all focussed on training hard and raising awareness of Myeloma through their endeavour. This ride is a daunting challenge but with your help, we will raise funds to help Myeloma UK continue with the incredible work they do to support and advocate for patients, their families and carers.

Thank you so much for your support!!
