Earlier this year i lost my grandma to Alzheimer's after a slow battle, she had the disease for most of my years growing up & as a young teen i struggled going to see her with the fear she wouldn't know who i was. 20 Years ago i lost my grandad just before i was born to the disease, taking the opportunity to ever know him away. This is a great opportunity for us to feel as though we have made a difference to a disease which has hurt us both and many people we know.

Myself & Faye became friends working at a pub by the river! We love being outdoors around the water and are super excited to take on Trek26 in the Lake District. This is a start to mine and Faye's first walking challenge together!
