Covid India Relief is the Phase 2 of the Donate for O2 campaign. Phase 2 funding will be utilised for helping with Vaccinations, setting up Allopathic hospitals and other needs arising on the ground

Story

India is in the midst of a deadly second wave of Covid-19. The daily infection count has gone all-time high. As compared to the previous wave, this time the virus seems to be spreading more rapidly and affecting younger age groups as well. There are horrific stories about lack of oxygen supply resulting in the tragic loss of lives on a daily basis.

During these very testing times, IAHV in India is working with various state governments to help procure O2 concentrators (portable machines that generate purified O2 from ambient air).

IAHV team has established a robust supply chain to import Oxygen concentrators with a lead time of just 1 week.

This campaign, run by the IAHV UK team, is a plea to raise funds to procure oxygen concentrators in large quantities to meet the huge demand on urgent basis.

A single unit of O2 concentrator costs approx £600 (including air freight). Our target is to raise £5000 in 3 weeks. This will providing funding for 8 units.

About the charity

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) was founded in Geneva in 1997, to foster, on a global scale, deeper understanding of the values that unite us as a human community. Our aim is to promote an awareness of the importance of human values, encourage their development, and to initiate and support projects in the UK and throughout the world that meet the fundamental objectives of the IAHV organisation in Human Values (and which meet our criteria).
