This year, I am asking for donations for a cause that means a lot to both Alex and I: Canvas Health and Stomp Out Suicide.

As some of you may know, we've been dealing with this over the past 6 months as Alex was diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2 in February. The good thing is that I was able to recognize the signs and get in touch with his therapist and get him the help he needed before it was too late. Some are not that fortunate and we need more funding and help for mental health in this country.

Stomp Out Suicide was created in memory of Alissa Haines and money raised helps raise awareness of mental health issues and aid suicide prevention efforts throughout Minnesota.
