In June the Superhero Frey Team are going to walk 100km around the Lake District in 2 days to honour Frey, an absolute little superhero who was diagnosed just after his second birthday with stage 2 kidney cancer, he had a very large tumour (also known as a Wilms tumour) attached to his left kidney that had also destroyed most of the kidney itself. He started weekly chemotherapy straight away to shrink the tumour and then had surgery shortly after to have it removed, along with his kidney. He is now undergoing a 27 week course of chemotherapy. Frey has been such a brave little boy and we’re doing this walk in honour of him and all the other brave children who are dealing with Cancer 🧡
