Team Sue Ryder are taking on the TCS London Marathon 2025 to ensure no-one faces death or grief alone. Every step you take will help us to be there when it matters.

Story

On September 1st 2024, we will be running the Moki Community Mile in Cheltenham as part of the Sue Ryder team, in memory of our Gran, Auntie and Uncle. Our sister, Francesca, will also be running the London Marathon in April 2025.

Sue Ryder is a charity very very close to our heart and we would be so appreciative if you could support all the incredible palliative and bereavement work that they do. They ensure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need.

After a very tough year for our family, following the passing of our Auntie Shirley after a very short battle with cancer, and her husband and my Uncle Bob who passed after a bleed on the brain, Sue Ryder were brilliant in guiding us through some of the toughest moments. In the summer of 2023, Sue Ryder Leckhamption were again so caring and supportive with our Gran during her final weeks of life, enabling her to stay at home with us.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
