Story
My husband and I are walking the South Down Way starting on the 23rd of May 2021, to support this wonderful Charity, with whom we are very grateful to. Every hospital should have A Big C centre which is an important lifeline for people who are affected by cancer. They are there for the patient and their families.
Since 1980 Big C has been dedicated to the fight against cancer and today they help the thousands of people affected, across our county, while working to improve future outcomes. Their work focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research into cancer, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the countys main hospitals, and educating local people about cancer for the future.
In addition we would like to support the Macmillan Cancer Support as they have supported many members of our family in their time of need. If possible we would like to support both charities evenly, but of course it is up to the individual Many thanks Sorcha and Steve
