Help turn our aging clubhouse into a year-round fully accessible venue for the cricket club and wider community. We have planning permission and are embarking on our biggest challenge - to raise the money to make our dream a reality!

Story

The St Peters U15 team are coming together to help raise funds for the St Peters clubhouse redevelopment.

We are doing this by taking part in the first ever St Peters Ton Run on 15th July at 6pm. The bar will be open, the BBQ will be on so come and watch (profits from the bar and BBQ will go towards fundraising) or even take part in the St Peters Ton Run! But most importantly sponsor as many of us as you can!

What is the St Peters Ton Run?

The distance between the two batting creases on a cricket pitch is 17.68 metres. So if you were to run 100 runs you would cover a distance of at least 1768 metres.

Give or take a few metres this is equivalent to 3 laps of the velodrome that surrounds St Peters cricket ground.

So do the three laps (aka The St Peters Ton Run) and you can proudly tell people you made 100 runs at St Peters Cricket Club!

Easy you say? But here is the catch. You need to complete The St Peters Ton Run in full batting gear. Whites, pads, gloves, helmet, box, and don't forget your bat!
