We are thrilled to announce that on Saturday 14th September, our Annual Sponsored Ride will be taking place around Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. Caroline and I started organising this Annual Ride in 1976 with our Pony Club friends, and over the last four decades, it has been wonderfully managed by us all at Wimbledon Village Stables. This year is extra special as it marks our 50th Ride*, and we couldn't be more excited!

*For those with a keen eye for numbers, the reason this is our 50th ride is because in 1995 we held two rides. The first 20 years from 1976-1995, the ride took place on New Year's Day, but in 1995 we decided to move it to November, so there were two rides in that year, one in January and one in November.

On this page, you can see all the amazing riders who are participating and the incredible charities they are supporting. It would mean the world to us if you could show your support by sponsoring one (or more) of them.

We'd love for you to join us on the day to cheer on our riders as they parade down the High Street in fabulous Fancy Dress at 9:15 and 12:15. The Wimbledon Village Business Association is making a big day out of it, calling it a Dress Up For Charity day, with various fun activities around the Village, including a doggie fancy dress competition. We are also hosting a Prize Giving party in the yard at 1 pm, and you can buy tickets to be part of the celebration.
