Raising money for Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team and HospiceCare North Northumberland

Story

The Montane Summer Spine Challenger North is a non-stop, 160-mile race along the Pennine Way from Hardraw to Kirk Yetholm. After completing the 109-mile 'Spine Challenger South' last year in 52 hours I have now stepped up to this event for 2024.

I am raising money for two great charities (please let's try and make the donations to both causes as even as possible) -

1. Hospice Care North Northumberland

2. Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue

Start - Hardraw, North Yorkshire

Finish - Kirk Yetholm, scottish Borders

Start Time - 8.00, June 17th 2024

Distance - 160 miles

Time Limit - 90 hours

Total Ascent - 5,290 metres (17,355 feet)

Total Descent - 5,591 metres (18,343 feet)
