Beau was a kind, considerate, resilient and sassy 6-year-old from Leeds. She always found ways to live her best life. She passed away when she was just 6 years old.

Story

Spenborough Swimming Club are holding a Swimathon on 5th March 2022 to raise money for Beau's Campaign to get to Sloan for potentially lifesaving treatment.

At the age of 4 in December 2020 Beau was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood Cancer that at the point of diagnosis has only a 50% chance of long-term survivorship. Her family are appealing for your help to raise £317,000 by May 2022 so she can enrol on a clinical trial in New York.

#GetBeauToSloan ♥️ Every penny counts ♥️

Please help us to raise money for Beau to get her the treatment she needs and deserves.

Anyone involved in the club either swimmer or parent/guardian can take part in the event and choose your distance or jointly create a relay team for the longer distances.

The Swimathon will be held at Dewsbury Pool and is a 33.3m pool.

Distances to swim are: 400m (12 lengths), 800m (24 lengths), 1500m (45 lengths).

Relay distances: 2000m (60 lengths) or 4000m (120 lengths)

Thank you so much.
