Starting the week of 7th October in the lead to World Mental Health Day on 10th October, we are encouraging our team to prioritise their wellbeing while supporting MIND in walking 10,000 steps per day per person. Our goal is ambitious yet achievable: 600,000 steps, so we can come together as a team in support of mental health awareness to show our commitment in not only our own health, but also those facing their own mental health challenges.
At Spa Communications, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another, particularly in mental health awareness. That's why we're proud to partner with the leading mental health charity MIND Tunbridge Wells to support them in making a difference to those struggling with their mental wellbeing.
Mental health is a critical issue affecting many people across the UK. West Kent MIND is determined to ensure no one is alone in their journey. Their services offer a lifeline for individuals and families mental health concerns, and by providing support, education and resources, they empower people to take control of their mental health.
Studies have shown the strong link between walking and exercise to mental health and wellbeing, reducing stress and anxiety, while improving your mood and self-esteem. At Spa Communications, we recognise the importance of staying active in both our mental and physical health, which is why we are taking part in a week-long walking challenge.
