So we’ve had a year off and now Martin and myself are back running The Great North Run 2022 and raising money for this amazing charity Crohn’s and Colitis.

Here is our story:

When our gorgeous daughter Bryony was 17 she was rushed into hospital and diagnosed with ulcerative colitis which unfortunately resulted in her having 3 emergency, lifesaving operations and spending many weeks in intensive care.

I find it hard to put into words what a truly horrible time this was for Bryony and all of us close to her. We know for a fact that we are lucky that she survived and there were times that we thought she would not be making it home from hospital.

We knew nothing about Ulcerative Colitis at the time or what a dramatic life changing affect it was going to have on Bryony.

Life is great now and Bryony is an amazing full of life young lady!
