Story

From the moment someone starts worrying about their symptoms, Alzheimer's Society can be there for them. Your support means that people don't have to face this condition alone, and that together, we can build a better tomorrow for everyone affected by dementia. Help us raise money so together we can find a cure and the Alzheimer's Society can continue their great work offering support and advice to all affected.

We wanted to do something ambitious for us while collecting sponsorship for an incredibly worthy cause that means something to all of us. As a group of friends we all know someone whose lives are affected by dementia and we just wanted to find some small way to help.

We have friends who complete marathons and triathlons and we can't compete with them, but we wanted to compete against ourselves by pushing our own limits a little. None of us have done anything like this before so we are hoping that our combined efforts will yield an impressive haul for the Alzheimer's Society. Thank you for your help.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
