Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2023 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Story

We finally sealed the deal! And with your very generous support and encouragement, Sister Seals have raised almost £2000.00 (inc gift aid) of much-needed revenue for Cancer Research and Marie Curie.

Our team time for the 5k swim was 3hrs and 21mins, which is unlikely to be the fastest, but we're all grateful to be healthy enough to have accomplished it. The wonderful on-going work of the two charities was our inspiration for getting into the pool. And we're so grateful to our supporters for helping us make this little splash of fund-raising on their behalf. Thank you all!
