Challenge yourself to sleep rough for a night and raise money to prevent a young vulnerable person having to do it for real.

Story

Hi all,

In the UK, there are 86,000 young people experiencing homelessness and 8,500 in the West Midlands.

As a key Supply Chain Partner of John Sisk & Son we are asking for your help to end homelessness in Ireland and the UK by sponsoring either of our respective teams.

On Friday 25th November Paul Brown, CEO, Ajaz Shafi, COO and Glenn Christianson, Head of Health & Safety, John Sisk & Son will be participating at The Big Sleepout in Birmingham.

Anyone can be affected by homelessness but for some it is more likely. Some will reach crisis, some will need to recover but all are affected by a shortage of affordable housing.

I know the construction industry has had an extremely challenging year with increased inflation, but homelessness is another national crisis that simply cannot be ignored.

You can sponsor the Sisk team taking part in the Big Sleepout in the link below. Alternatively you can send a cheque to the Sisk Solihull office made out to St. Basils.

Please give what you can as every donation is greatly appreciated. Together we can change the homeless landscape across Ireland and be part of the difference in peoples’ lives.

Don’t forget that companies claim a tax relief as a trading expense. St Basils can provide the necessary receipts that are needed to file these returns.
