David, Anton, Richard and Aaron are all good friends. We all lost someone.

Unfortunately, that does not make us special. But the person we lost? He was special.

Several years have passed since we said goodbye to a good friend, but our passion for remembering him has not waned. Quite the contrary, we continue to celebrate him and take on greater challenges in his name.

He was a victim of suicide. He was ill and needed help. There are others who are suffering from the same thing right now. We must do what we can to help them, and to prevent their friends and family from experiencing what we still feel every day.

We appreciate anything you are able to give to Thurrock and Brentwood Mind, a charity we have (and he had) supported for a long time.

Their work in the community is invaluable. If just one life is saved because four middle-aged men stumbled up and down a couple of hills, it will all be worth it. Thank you.

The Challenge

On 20 July 2024, we will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge is to hike the three tallest peaks in the UK within 24 hours:

1. Ben Nevis, Scotland (1,344m)

2. Scafell Pike, England (977m)

3. Snowdon, Wales (1,085m)

Total Ascension Distance: 3,406m

Our team name is therefore entirely apt.
