Raising money for The Pink Ribbon Foundation and Everyman Appeal

Story

Welcome to The Shindig! Online Festival 2021. The 24th of April this year will mark the first anniversary of The Shindig! Online Lockdown Music Festival, a sprawling affair which featured 57 exclusive performances from artists such as Paul Weller, PP Arnold, Jason Falkner, Romeo Stodart, Sid Griffin, Little Barrie and The Fuzztones, to name a few and raised over £2,500 for The Trussel Trust.

A lot has happened since then, much of which we will want to forget and as Spring is a time of rebirth and hope we at Shindig! wanted to celebrate a new dawn. So we have put together the Shindig! Online Festival 2021, with brand new and exclusive sets from Gruff Rhys, The Seeds, Steve Cradock, Fleur, Helicon, Simon Love, Joe Wong, Electric Looking Glass, Daniel Romano's Outfit, Pearl Charles and Paul Molloy.

We are supporting 2 charities this time, which are very close to the Shindig! Family's heart, having been touched by both testicular and breast cancer in the past year.

'Everyman Stamp Out Male Cancer' is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year, some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

'The Pink Ribbon Foundation' is a grant making trust, its mission is to fund projects and provide impartial financial support to breast cancer charities. We are fully committed to ensuring that all of the charities that benefit from the work of the Foundation receive maximum gain.

The top link in our “team members” donations page is for Pink Ribbon, the second, Everyman. Why not donate to both.
