Story

Claire and Michelle are always up for a challenge. Next year they cannot think of a better cause than supporting Abby's Heroes!? Claire and Michelle are no strangers to running/crawling through mud, but the climb is something different. Inspired by Louise, a fellow football Mum, they are set to challenge themselves to clamber up Snowdon.

They have not only set themselves the challenge of the climb, but also to raise as much money as they can to support this incredible charity. This is where you all come in. Your support and donations will be what spurs them on as they climb the beast. Continue reading to learn more about where that money goes. Thank you to you all.

Every year, having discovered the news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer, families enter either the Piam Brown Ward for 0-16yr olds, or the TYA Teenage and Young Adults Ward 16-24yrs at UHS University Hospital Southampton.
The whole ethos of Abby's Heroes is to place our arm around the shoulders of these families and support them during this journey. We offer Financial Grants to help with the financial burden of having your child diagnosed, Practical support, Memory Making grants, Welfare Packs, Counselling service for the entire family, as well as two evening meals and a picnic lunch every week. Every single penny is vital to help Abby's Heroes provide these services.
