Event: London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2021, on 19 September 2021
Support St George's Hospital Charity by cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton!

Story

In 2019, 10 paediatric consultants and friends / family completed the 55 miles from London to Brighton. The ride was enjoyable if not eventful. WE raised enough funds to buy two Optiflow machines which support young infants and children with acute breathing difficulties in order to prevent them needing more intensive care. This year we want and need to go bigger and better to raise more urgent funds for the service.

St Georges Hospital provides a number of specialist and general services for children and young people living in South West London and Surrey. The recent CQC inspection rated children's services as 'Outstanding' despite the financial challenges and fabric we work within. The clinical staff work above and beyond to provide excellent services. However we need equipment and training to keep the service innovative and moving forwards. Any support you give will be extremely helpful.

Better Care, Healthier Lives. We are the charity that exists to support St Georges hospitals and the communities they serve. Every day, our work makes a real difference to patients, their families and friends and the staff who care for them.
