Max and I (Serge’s Grandson and Son) are running in a 5k run in Bushy Park on Sunday 24th November. The run has been set up in honour of my Dad to help raise money for Kingston Hospital. As well as being a keen park runner and setting up a local couch25k course in Kew, he also helped to raise money for Kingston Hospital for 20 years. As a fitting tribute to Serge Lourie - friend, volunteer and fundraiser of Kingston Hospital - and his love of running, Kingston Hospital Charity will match each staff member’s fundraising efforts, pound for pound up to £78; the age Serge was when he died on 10 September this year.
