Newcastle Swim Team swimmers will be swimming the distance between Scott House at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle and Guilford Street House at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London! This will be a combined total of 286 miles or 18,876 lengths of our very own Gosforth pool! The reason for this crazy challenge is simple; to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust this Christmas. Just £40 will pay for one family to stay overnight at one of the SCT homes, on site at the hospital next to their poorly child. We are aiming to house the equivalent of 100 families by raising £4000!
