Crosshouse Childrens Fund - a new charitable fund established by Glasgow Childrens Hospital Charity to support children and families from across Ayrshire and Arran who are cared for in the Paediatric, Ayrshire Maternity and Neonatal Units.

Story

We are doing the Kiltwalk to raise funds for Crosshouse Childrens charity. As most people know my youngest daughter Everly was very premature. When she was born she was very sick and without the amazing Doctors and Nurses in Crosshouse Neonatal Unit we wouldnt have Everly with us today.

The care and compassion shown by all involved in Everly‘s time in hospital was absolutely outstanding. Being in the unit for 66 days opened our eyes to just how amazing the staff in there are. Every single baby is loved and looked after like they are their own babies and the staff quickly become like your own family member. They celebrate every high and will comfort you on the low days and always have a way of uplifting your mood even on the darkest of days ❤️
