We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

James was diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in 2012 after a routine eye appointment. For the next 8 years he faced his treatment with a smile on his face and never once pitied himself. James endured surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and a clinical trail but unfortunately brain tumours are brutal and notoriously difficult to treat. James' tumour continued to grow in 2020 and in December he was told he was out of treatment options. James died surrounded by family and friends at the age of 38.

Research is expensive and tragically underfunded. Brain tumours are indiscriminate and can affect anyone at any age, killing more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

Next year we are taking part in the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge in James' memory and to raise vital funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. We will be walking 106 km continously along the coastal path. Please sponsor one of us if you can. A cure can't wait!
