Aarons Story
Throughout the pandemic Aaron visited his GP on multiple occasions and was diagnosed with Mental Health but he had an overwhelming feeling that something more serious was wrong.
At the start of November he was rushed to hospital after raising the alarm that he had been feeling worse and was then given the devastating news that he had Grade 4 brain cancer.
Thankfully Aaron was able to undergo surgery to have the tumour removed from his brain and they surgeons were also able to confirm that the cancer had not spread down his spine.
Aaron starts his radiotherapy on the 12th of December and is incredibly grateful to the nurses and staff at Beatson and as such would like to raise as much money as possible to ensure they are funded to help others.
Beatson Cancer Charity exists to enhance the experience, treatment, outcomes and wellbeing of current and former cancer patients and their families.
Thanks to your support we can continue to provide vital funding for enhanced patient and family support services and facilities, novel research, nursing, radiography, physics & research-based staff.
