We care for children with short lives to ensure that no family faces this alone

Story

The iON Team is competing in the Superfeet Sandman Triathlon in September 2022 to raise money for Tŷ Hafan.

The race starts and ends in one of Anglesey’s most treasured spots, the incredible Newborough Forest, an exclusive area of 700ha woods adjacent to the world famous Llanddwyn Beach.

Richard, Peter and Helen will be participating in this grueling event and sharing the 1500m swim, 58km ride and 10km run.

Sadly, thousands of families in Wales live every day knowing their child’s life will be short. At the moment, they often face this without any care or support. Alone. Afraid. Isolated. Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own.
