Story
Samsung's Team Mt Toubkal.... a mismatched group of passionate and (for some) potentially deluded individuals heading to Africa to climb a 4000m mountain in the aid of The Lily Foundation.
Today we are appealing to your better nature and unashamedly ask for your cash. Our target is terrifyingly huge at £50,000... (given previous similar expeditions have hit around the £30k mark) but we're confident as a team we can hit it.
Despite a few seasoned climbing experts in our midst (plus the odd marathon runner)... we are all amateurs - so undertaking a challenge like this is epic. Our expedition kicks off in May in the Atlas Mountains as we summit its highest peak, Mount Toubkal.
You can keep track of our exploits via our blog here: www.dowhatyoucant-expeditions.com
Our team is deep in training... and does this with pure grit and determination for the sake of our charity. The Lily Foundation was founded in 2007 by Liz Curtis in memory of her daughter Lily. Their mission is to improve the lives of people affected by mitochondrial diseases, while working towards a future where mitochondrial diseases can be effectively treated or cured.
So we ask you from the bottom of our hearts to please support our challenge, and give as generously as you can.
