Event: The Myton Hospices - Skydive 2024 (June Weekend), from 1 June 2024 to 2 June 2024
We need to raise £10.5 million this year, so we are genuinely concerned about the impact the spiralling cost of living and energy prices will have on us.

Story

ONHOLD DUE TO INJURY

Team Sam and Lindsey are jumping for Myton Hospice on 2nd June 2024.

Lindsey has been giving me a nudge since she joined the last sky dive for Myton and she maybe giving me more of a nudge on the day!

We both have reasons for doing this.

Having done a skydive before in memory of her Mother in Law Maureen, Lindsey has always wanted to take on another jump! Both Lindsey & Adam have supported Myton in many ways before, Lindsey jumping and taking on Mud 7 whilst Adam does the running events! Myton provided end of life care at home for Maureen.

Sam and her family are under Myton Hospice as her husband has MND and have been receiving support simce 2020, in 2023 Myton provided Dan with 12 weeks of Physio, Sam is accessing councilling regularly, the family recieve monthly wellbeing check ins , Sam is awaiting wellbeing therapy and their son is also due to recieve support, we will contine undee Myton and Shakespeare Hospice throughout out MND Journey.
