Story

On Sunday 23rd April 2023 we’ll be running the London Marathon in support of Mind 🏃‍♀️

We're thrilled to have been chosen to be part of team Mind, raising money and awareness for such an incredible charity makes us super proud (let's just hope we make it to the finish line 😅).

There are many reasons why running for Mind means so much to us.

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience mental health struggles. We'll all have friends, family and colleagues who have struggled in some way, big or small.

Like many, both of us and some of those closest to us have been that 1 in 4. And if there’s one thing we’ve discovered from our own experiences with mental health, it’s that talking helps - A LOT.

While some have access to that much needed support system to help them pull through. The striking reality is, we’re living in a mental health crisis and not everyone has the same access to life changing (and in some cases lifesaving) support.

This is where the funds we raise on behalf of Mind will help… With our donations Mind can continue to ensure help is accessible for all and provide life changing guidance to the thousands of people who need it.

Your support

We would be grateful for any kind of contribution, whether it’s:

- Making a donation 💷

- Sharing my fundraising page 🔗

- Speaking up about your own mental health journey 🗣

- Being the support system for someone who might need you 👬

If you do donate, here are just some ways your generosity will help:

- £10 sends essential mental health information to 40 people

- £40 pays 28 people to campaign for change on Mind's behalf

- £70 keeps Mind's online community, Elefriends, open and safe for 2 hours

- £120 offers a lifeline to 8 people in need of support from the Mind legal line

- £200 helps Mind keep their Infoline open for 1 hour, helping 35 people

- £300 provides a young person bereaved by suicide to access 1:1 and group support

- £550 provides 5 people struggling with their mental health a place in a 10-week wellbeing group

Finally, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your support and to all my friends and family who continue to make a difference in my life.

No one should have to face mental health problems alone ❤️
