Story

In these challenging times, Mountbatten Hospice has lost a lot of the income it needs to provide its amazing services to the island community. It is for this reason that for Seaford Charity week we are hoping as many of you as possible in the Ryde School community will help us raise money for the Hospice by completing Walk the Wight Your Way.

Walk the Wight Your Way involves completing some form of physical activity between now and the end of May. This doesn't have to all take place on one day, and can take any form you want - I know people who are completing 26 5km runs and climbing the height of Ben Nevis on their stairs, but 26 thirty minute trampoline sessions or doing a daily walk are equally valid activities. Really, all you have to do is enough to feel a sense of achievement and get people to sponsor you!

All you have to do to get involved is click join the team at the bottom of this page, make an account and get going! All the money you raise will be shown on your fundraising page, but it will also be counted on the team total.

To find out more, get lots of ideas and register for the walk with the hospice, follow this link to the WTW Your Way website. https://www.mountbatten.org.uk/walk-the-wight-your-way-a-unique-virtual-fundraiser
