Story
If you knew Brian you knew of his kind, positive spirit and his great drive for life. Running was one of the many ways he displayed this. Brian ran the Glasgow Great Scottish run almost every year since 1983 until 2021 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After a relatively short battle he went to be with the Lord in August 2022. Brian was always encouraging everyone to run and keep fit. What better way to celebrate his life than to run the same race he ran. On the 1st of October 2023 a group of friends and family are joining together to run to support the work of The Brain Tumour Charity.
The Brain Tumour Charity are the world's largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They are committed to saving and improving lives and moving to help every person affected by this disease. They are set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. We want to run to support this work so they can continue to support other families who are going through similar and to go towards finding a cure.
If you would like to give to support the work please do, any donations are gratefully received.
