We provide specialist care and support to people with life-shortening illnesses.
Story
Hello, we are a group of women who met up a few years ago at our local running group. We are not natural runners and we are aged between 37 and 69! When COVID hit we encouraged each other to carry on running and then carried on running together. Alison Morris ran the GNR last year in memory of her mother, so when the GNR ballot came about last year, several of us entered, not thinking for a minute we would get places, but 4 of us did! Then the other 3 decided to support us by getting charity places to run raising much needed funds for St Catherine's. Any support you can give us will be massively appreciated as it will help motivate our training runs and on the day of the race. Thank you for reading.
St Catherine’s cares for patients and families who are affected by life-shortening conditions, at the hospice and in people’s own homes across Chorley, Preston and South Ribble. Our specialist care helps people enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life.
