Jack's Why:

I am running the Rob Burrows marathon in memory of my mum Clare. Mum was diagnosed with MND in 2022 and passed away in June 2024 due to complications from the disease. This was the day after Rob Burrows also died as a result of MND.

Me and Alex are both fundraising for the MNDA who support friends and families suffering with MND and also help fund research into finding a cure. Please donate if you can. MND is a devastating illness that robbed my mum of so much, including being able to see her 3 year old granddaughter grow up.

I am running the Leeds 2025 Marathon in aid of MND. This year, my auntie Clare passed away due to the disease. MND is a constant battle for families and loved ones close to me.
