Story
It is said that whoever saves a life it is as if they have saved the entire world. Over the weekend during a Jewish festival that is meant to spread happiness and joy was overshadowed by a tragedy that hasn't been seen since the holocaust.
October 7th will go down in history, as a day that is filled with a deep sense of pain that will last for many years to come, over the atrocities and acts of terror that have been committed in Israel. This has affected everyone men, women and children of all backgrounds and faiths. hatred knows no bounds.
Many of us have connection to those directly affected by acts of terror or to the individual leaving their homes to protect their country.
We might feel distant and powerless to help but everyone of us has a part to play in this.
We will be running a distance of 18 km which is the numerical value of the Hebrew word chai, which means life, to raise money for an advanced life saving kit and other vital life saving equipment which will be used to save countless of lives. Running a life to save a life.
Our goal is to raise £18000 which will cover the cost of an urgently needed, life saving equipment. Please help by contributing what you can, we need your help now more than ever.
