In support of our lovely friend and salsera Jade, we're ditching our salsa shoes for hiking boots as we take on The Yorkshire Three Peaks to help raise money for Rowcroft Hospice, a charity which is super close to Jade's heart.
The Rueda Ramblers - Hike for Rowcroft Hospice! 'What's a Rueda?' we hear you ask... well, it's a style of dance consisting of pairs of dancers forming a circle with dance moves called out by one person, the caller. Which in this case is our 'Man on a Mission', Mr Rob.
Don't be fooled by our dancing feet, we're ready to smash the 24-mile (38.6km) round trip route, which includes a 1585m (5200ft) ascent. You bet we'll be dancing our way to the very end! And of course, we'll be throwing in a rueda or two... or three along the way!!
We would really appreciate your support. Donations big or small would mean the world to us and more importantly, make a real difference to our chosen charity.
The money raised will go directly to Rowcroft Hospice (Torquay, Devon).

A message from Jade -
We are raising money for the wonderful place that is Rowcroft Hospice. My Dad spent his last few weeks here in June 2022 and nothing I write will do justice to the work they do. We were so grateful for all the members of staff that work here. The care assistants who wheeled my Dad's bed outside so he could enjoy the sunshine, the chef who made him an apple pie when he couldn't eat anything else, the doctor who sat and talked to him about cricket, the physiotherapist who fist bumped my Dad whenever she saw him, the nurse who hugged me after my Dad passed, and the volunteers that give up their own time to guide families through the hardest days. Thank you for doing an unthinkably difficult job with such kindness. Rowcroft runs mostly on donations and anything you can give will go towards helping provide end of life care to other people like my Dad.
