Story

Three intrepid ROCKWOOL staff are taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for ROCKWOOL Ltd's Charity of the Year, Bowel Cancer UK.

Nick Wilson, Kasper Stromvig and Simon Archer will be lacing up their running shoes and running 13.1miles amongst the iconic city landmarks of Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Bay.

Each year ROCKWOOL Ltd's employees nominate and vote for charities to become our Charity of the Year. We make an upfront donation and then work with the charity over the year to spotlight their work and support additional fundraising activities.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity.

They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

They’re there to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
