Story
Rob's Story:
I've entered a marathon.
So naturally I'll be posting about it. Part of being a runner is telling everyone that you're a runner.. And what better way to do that than on Instagram and Facebook.
We're raising money for Macmillan.
The 1st of April (yes, April fools day) last year, my partner @zoemay_pope was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. At the age of 29, with no family history, it shows that cancer doesn't discriminate against anyone.
It turns your world upside down and it's not something anyone should have to go through. Macmillan Cancer Support played a huge part in helping us through an incredibly tough time, so I'd love to feel like I can give a little back.
Between three runners - Myself, Rory and Ellie, we're aiming to raise £2,250 by next spring. We're going to be doing plenty of training and smaller running events along the way to help us reach our donation target. Literally, any amount you can donate to help us reach that magic number would be greatly appreciated!
Ellie & Rory's Story:
As many of you will know, last year our incredible friend Zoe, at just 29 years old was faced with a Breast Cancer diagnosis.
She’s been an inspiration to us all, and we want to run the Edinburgh marathon to honour her determination and raise awareness for breast cancer.
We’re aiming to raise £2,250 for Macmillan Cancer Support, an amazing charity that provides invaluable assistance and support to individuals and families dealing with this challenging journey.
Donations, no matter the size, make a significant impact and every donation brings us one step closer to supporting those affected by cancer.
Your generosity can truly make a difference!
