We will walk 41 miles! …. and we would walk 41 more…not sure about that last bit but anyway here is our story...

The River Ayr Way hiking challenge for Vetlife Is the brainchild of vet, Melissa Donald. A keen runner, Melissa has corralled a small team to take on the 41 mile (65k) route which traces the length of the River Ayr from its source at Glenbuck Loch to the sea in Ayr.

The plan is to complete the route over two days and to raise funds for Vetlife. With several decades of experience in practice between us, we all know the challenges facing the profession and hope to raise much needed funds for this important charity.

The RAW is our way of putting Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 on the fundraising map in 2024 . Please donate what you can- thank you!
