Walk Your Socks Off 2020 - Groups
Campaign by Guide Dogs (RCN Eng. & Wales 209617, Scot. SC038979, & IoM 1334)
Walk Your Socks Off is back! Challenge your virtual group or household to step it up this May and raise funds to help people with sight loss step out with confidence. Set a step target for your group to strive to achieve during this time of isolation

Story

Lesley, Stella and Hannah are walking separately, but together, to walk a minimum of 138,000 on or around the Ridgeway* - locals will know that these steps will be hilly ones!

We are doing this for Guide Dogs for the Blind, to support those living with visual impairment now, and into the future. The number of people living with sight-loss is set to double between now and 2050, and the demand for our amazing dog services, as well as other support services has never been greater.

It is of course a difficult time for everyone, with much uncertainty, so any donations are gratefully received. Hannah has donated her work-bought-coffee fund, for example - putting this saving to good use - so even the price of a coffee will make a difference to our total.

Thanks in advance for considering supporting!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
