Story
The Ride for Tina is an annual 3-day cycle ride in memory of Tina Favis. Every September we cycle around 150 miles from different starting points, ending in Salcombe, to raise money for St Luke's Hospice.
This year the pros among the group decided to give themselves an extra challenge, riding from Lands End to John O'Groats in under 65 hours at the end of June. The ride was a huge success and we now turn our focus to the annual 3-day event.
This year on Friday 23rd September the riders will cycle from Salcombe to Exeter, then onto Plymouth and finally back to Salcombe again, totalling 150 miles.
During her time at St Luke's Hospice the staff gave amazing support to Tina and her loved ones, as they have continued to do for many others in our community. Thousands of people use the services of St Luke’s Hospice every year; they provide fantastic care, not only for their patients, but also for their patients’ friends and families, which is why we do all we can to say thank you.
The annual running costs of St Luke's Hospice are in excess of £10m, with £7m coming from fundraisers. Everything we do will make a difference to this incredible facility. So please help us raise as much as we can!
Thank you very much in advance for all your help, support and donations.
Fingers crossed for good weather!
