Story
We at Rhino Precast Ltd believe that teamwork is extremely important to overcome the struggles we face daily, and we believe it is important to constantly challenge ourselves. By doing this, it brings us closer together and allows us to work better as a team. This is why we are always looking for our next test to push ourselves further. A team of 5; Gavin, Ewan, Henry, Matthew and Ellys will be taking on one of their biggest challenges yet by signing up to run the Great North run in September 2023. Ewan will also be pushing himself to the limits further by running whilst wearing a Rhino costume, to raise money and awareness of the great work Save the Rhino are doing.

Rhinos play a vital role in shaping Africa’s ecosystem and landscape, helping other animals such as elephants and buffalo keep a healthy balance within the ecosystem. For millions of years, these majestic megaherbivores have roamed Africa’s grassland and Asia’s swamps, relatively unchanged since prehistoric times. However, the total number of Rhinos has dwindled rapidly since the start of the 20th century from as high 500,000 to around 27,000 today worldwide. Since 2008, 11,690 Rhinos have been lost to cruel poachers in Africa, for their horns.
Save the Rhino helps to protect Rhinos by reducing illegal trade and engaging with local communities and experts to help these magnificent animals survive extinction. There is hope for the Rhinos as shown by the miraculous recovery of the Southern White Rhino which has grown in population from just 20 in 1895 to over 15,000 today.
Please help us put an end to the mindless killing of these beautiful animals by donating to the amazing work save the rhino are doing.
