Hi everyone,

We’re Rhea and Alana - friends who met while working at L&Q, a housing association dedicated to creating affordable homes and communities. Rhea is still part of the L&Q team, while Alana has moved on, but we both share a deep passion for the belief that everyone deserves a quality home that gives them the chance to live a better life.

We’re excited to share that we’ll be running our first half marathon at the London Landmarks, in April 2025, to help end homelessness!

We’re raising funds for HARP, a fantastic charity making a real difference in our community. Day and night, HARP’s street outreach team helps people into emergency accommodation, offering tailored support to meet each person’s unique needs. From finding permanent housing, to building life skills and overcoming challenges like addiction and health conditions, HARP helps individuals rebuild their lives through work, education, or training.

Every donation makes a difference. For every £1 you give, 96 pence goes directly to the frontline, supporting people experiencing homelessness in Southend-on-Sea.
