As many of you know I lost my dear mum last year. When I booked this challenge, I knew this would either be to fundraise in her name or as a memorial and tribute to her. Sadly, it’s the later. Mum chose Cancer Research UK as her chosen charity and we have picked St Leonard‘s.

Cancer Research UK’s pioneering research will ensure we one day beat cancer. Mum received the most wonderful care from St Leonard’s in her last few days, which was of great comfort to her and all the family. I’m proud to be taking on this run in her name.
